Valašské Klobouky
Valašské Klobouky is situated in the northern part of the protected landscape area called Bílé Karpaty, which was pronounced for a biospheric reserve of UNESCO.
The first
written mention of existence of the town Klobouky relates to the archaelogical findings of pre-Slavonic settlement. As early
as in 1356 Klobouky was given the status of Hradiště (a fortified
settlement), but Klobouky became a real town in the sense of the word in the 16th
century. Due to lot of liberties Klobouky functioned as an economic centre and
a strong centre of the domain then of Brumov. That is
why after 1848 Klobouky became a seat of district authorities of

In the town there are hotels Alfacentrum and U Nádraží, few restaurants and coffees, a rest house Koliba, RRS Jelenovská, the protected area Královec, a cinema, a swimming pool, a stadium and several gyms. In the network of welfare services to citizens also the subdivisions of the Commercial Bank, GE Capital Bank and Česká Spořitelna (Czech Savings Bank) partake. In the polyclinic building there are surgeries of physicians, specialists and dentists, laboratories and the chemist's. Also the Pension and the House with home care service are in the service of the citizens of the town and the neighbourhood. Current shop network by all means suffices the inhabitants of the town and the neighbourhood.
