Legend of reconstruction of the square
- March 24th 1995 - the town Vysoke Myto appealed two Faculties of Architecture of CVUT and three studios to process urbanization - architectural study for reconstruction of the square of Premysl Otakar II.
- October 25th 1995 - the town board of representatives passed the design of architectural study from Doc. ing. arch. Karel Marhol, CSc. from Institute of Urbanization FA CVUT Prague.
- July 4th 1996 - The excavation works of the firm AGILE Usti nad Orlici for Telecom Pardubice were started - it was started the reconstruction of all the square.
- The square was open for traffic and supply for all the time of reconstruction.
- The excavation works continued also in the street of Premysl Otakar II.
- · Then there was repared water-supply on the south and east side of the square and were changed the water-supply connections. The works were made by the firm VAK Vysoke Myto.
- All the pave works are made by the firm DLAZBA - Dudycha Prosec.
- In September 1996 there started the pave works on the communications (after gradual terrain modification; north and west side).
- In February 1997 there started the pave works on the pavements and in the center of the square, the works were finished on the 14 th October 1997.
- Total area for paving exceeded 19.000 square metres and it was used more then 5 millions of paving stones.
- The supplier of coloured polymer-concrete was the firm COMING, s.r.o. Pavlov u Heralce. Total number of the mosaic from polymer-concrete is 3.049 square metres; the mosaic is set up from 13 colours.
- The supplier of four corner buildings was the firm Mestsky stavebni podnik Vysoke Myto.
- Electric lighting and sound were produced by the firm ELEKTRO Slegr Vysoke Myto.
- All the patterns for pave works were made by the firm KOV-PROPAG Jilek Eduard Vysoke Myto.
- Festive opening of the new-reconstructed square took place from 14th to 17th November 1997.
